Declaration of Results

Rules for scrutiny / review of Answer Sheet

Within a week of taking the examination, the response sheet of each candidate for Part A will be uploaded along with subject wise mark(s) secured.

No review will be available for the drawing test (Part B). Further, there will be no provision for post publication scrutiny and /or review and any request after publication of the result will not be entertained.

Result format

Results will be available in the website which will be announced in various electronic/printing media before declaration of results. The result will be made available as follows:

  • Marks obtained in the exam out of 200.
  • Qualified/ Not Qualified

Qualifying marks for NATA-2022 would be based on the following rules:

  • A minimum of 25% must be secured in MCQ portion (18 out of 75)
  • A minimum of 25% must be secured in Drawing portion (32 out of 125)
  • Overall qualifying marks (out of 200) would be based on post-exam statistics and at the discretion of the Council.
  • A Candidate will not qualify in NATA-2022 unless he/ she satisfy all three conditions mentioned above.

Validity of NATA-2022 score

  • NATA-2022 score shall be valid only for admission in the academic session 2022-23.


The results are expected to be released in July 2022. It can be accessed from NATA’s official website. It will be available in the following three formats:

  • Aggregate Marks secured as well as scores of each individual section
  • Merit listing – Based on scores obtained and tie-breaking rules
  • Percentile score - Based on merit listing

Candidates can check below the steps involved in accessing NATA Result are:

  • Visit the official website of NATA
  • Select “Download scorecard for NATA 2022”
  • Login with the UID and Password
  • Enter the captcha provided
  • View, download and print the scorecard

A consolidated merit list of NATA candidates will be published by Council of Architecture. In merit listing, all candidates will get unique rank. As such, if more than one candidate gets identical aggregate, tie-breaking conditions would be applied in the following order:

  • Higher score in Mathematics section
  • Less number of wrong-answers in Mathematics section.
  • Higher score in problem-solving questions of General Aptitude section.
  • Less number of wrong-answers in General Aptitude section.
  • Earlier date of birth
