Nata-2023 for Admission into 1st year of 5-years B.Arch. at various Institutions in India for the Academic session 2023-2024 will be conducted thrice by the council of Architecture (COA) all over the country, during the month of April, May, June, July 2023. A candidate appears for 2 tests, best of the 2 scores shall be taken as the valid score and in the case of 3 attempts, valid score shall be taken as the average of the 2 best scores.

New Changes Introduced This Year:

The Examination will be conducted three times in this year.
The NATA exam pattern will comprise of questions that could be of the Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ's), Multiple Select Type (MSQ), Preference Choice Type (PCQ), Numeric Answer Type (NAQ) and Match the Following (MFQ).
The question will carry either 1 mark, 2 marks, or 3 marks and 125 questions have to be answered in 180 minutes.
A national level centralized counseling may be conducted for Admission in Architecture courses.
Arts stream candidates are also eligible to apply for NATA 2023 , if they qualify the Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as additional exams conducted by the CBSE board.

WHO SHOULD TAKE NATA?

Prospective applicants desirous of taking admission to First year of undergraduate course in Architecture (Bachelor of Architecture) in India should qualify NATA. NATA scores are used for admission to different Government, Govt. Aided & Unaided Schools / Colleges of Architecture, in addition to their scholastic performance in 10+2 or equivalent examination.
